Bhaktivinod Dhara and Anti Bhaktivinod Side (Bimala Prasad & Lalit Prasad) - Part 1

Updated: Jan 21

All glories to Śrī Śrī Guru-Gauranga

Date 15.01.25

By sampradāya-saṁrakṣaka Śrī Śyām Dās Babajī Mahārāja

Gauḍīya Goṣṭhī Pati Śrī Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda Paramahāmsa Jagad Guru (Śrī Bimala Prasad Sarasvatī) said that— “The only duty of an acharya is to give full protection to siddhānta vāṇī vaibhava, because if siddhānta vāṇī can be protected then all other things can go smoothly, and if siddhānta vāṇī vaibhava cannot  be protected then everything can get lost.” So, we can see that sampradaik vāṇī vaibhava should be protected anyhow at any cost.

Gauḍīya Goṣṭhī Pati Śrī Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda Paramahāmsa Jagad Guru (Śrī  Bimala Prasad Sarasvatī) also said that— “Pure thing is very rare, not available so easily; that is why pure things cannot enjoy popular demand. Those sādhus – who without misguiding jivas always trying to make them in favour of Bhagavan by reciting aprākṛta hari-kathā-kīrtana, they cannot get popularity here in this material world. In the name of dharma at present those who are trying to misguide people – to get cheated by them has become the divine dispension of the age (the usual fashion of the age). A real sādhu never try to cheat public by giving favorable sweet speeches to suite their material mind, rather a real sādhu can point out the defects of those cheaters in the guise of sādhus who all are following the process of reconciliation (sāmānya vada). Only those who are having good luck (sukṛti) they can become careful by hearing the advice of such a real sādhu. The speeches of a real sādhu – bhagavat bhakta surely can go against my taste or conception, but still, that can give mangal in true sense. The recipient of such pure thing is very rare. False thing can enjoy popularity.” Śrī Tulsi das ji Mahāraj said that "Cow milk cannot be sold even by traveling lane to lane, whereas wine can be sold even by sitting in a solitary place”.

Śrīla Sacccidananda Bhaktivinod Ṭhākura has written in his article named ‘Pancha Samaskar’ that— “O devotees! Give up false arguments and worship Hari by observing the five saṁskāras, or reformations. If, after observing the methods of serving Kṛṣṇa followed by the Vrajavasis, you develop greed for serving Hari, then you can worship Kṛṣṇa on the rāgānugā path. But if you have not developed such a hankering and yet have a taste for worshiping Hari, then keep on serving Hari by practicing the nine-fold methods of devotional service.

The other day, a devotee showed us a magazine called “Vaiṣṇava”. In that we found a surprising description of a practice that is not proper. Some devotees have received devotional names from their respective spiritual masters, such as Bhaktibhrnga, Bhaktiratna, Bhaktinidhi, and so on. We could not understand why a Vaiṣṇava would live only for name and fame, and become envious? The more Kali progresses, the more negligence of the five saṁskāras is seen. The pseudo devotees of Śrīman Mahāprabhu are misleading people in so many ways. We have become worried by seeing such statements, which are blasphemous to the genuine Vaiṣṇavas. May Śrīman Mahāprabhu shower His mercy upon the people who are polluted by Kali and give them good intelligence.”

So how we can expect that your group can realize the most exclusive or rare divine contributions of The Prabhupāda (Śrī Bimala Prasad Sarasvatī) which all were never distributed before in the history of human being, so surely you have the desire to prove his inferiority to establish the superiority of your group leader (Lalita Prasad Ji). But be sure that we have no smell of evil intention to destroy the dignity of your group leader (Lalita Prasad Ji). We know it very well how to show appropriate honour to him and everybody, but only to defend your wicked mission to bring some defame in the name of The Prabhupāda (Śrī Bimala Prasad Sarasvatī) to misguide those innocent general public – we are bound to establish the truth. Even without watching any of his divine writings and activities or without hearing any of his divine firing speeches, only by looking at this great lion Gauḍīya Goṣṭhī Pati Śrī Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda – one surely and easily can take decision immediately to sell his (or her) head unto his lotus feet like Śrī Madan Mohan Malavaya or Śrī  Netaji Subas Chandra Bose etc. all aristocratic or gigantic personalities of the society but those who are offenders—I mean all your group members they can never confess those facts directly related to The Prabhupāda. Then what to do? All your weakness can be exposed very easily only by pointing out your chronic secret disease hidden inside all of your wicked hearts. It is only by the application of common sense one can very easily understand the honest and divine desire of Śrīla Saccidananda Bhaktivinod Ṭhākura, I mean the reason for why he wanted to give the most difficult responsibility to Śrī Bimala Prasada Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī to organize the whole Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava society towards the right direction which was already pointed out by Śrīman Mahāprabhu Himself and which is almost next to impossible. Because to fullfill the desire of Śrīman Mahāprabhu (Śrī Chaitanya Mano bhistam) need such a selected pārṣada like Śrīla Prabhupāda. This is not a matter of joke. So, such a great sevā responsibility can only be done by such a great eternal Gaura pārṣada like The Prabhupāda. We have also heard from the divine lotus mouth of Śrīla Prabhupāda that sometimes Śrīmad Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura and Śrīmad Gaura Kiśora Dāsa Bābājī Mahārāja revealed a supremely intimate relationship with Śrīla Prabhupāda by considering him as a disciple engaged in viśrambha-bhajana (intimate  sevā). Śrī Gurudeva does not give his highest affection to one who is merely a good speaker. Whoever is the best, he establishes as the dearest.

Your group always speaking just the opposite of what Śrīman Mahāprabhu told.

pṛthivīte āche yata nagarādi grāma

sarvatra pracāra haibe mora nāma     (Caitanya-bhāgavata, Antya 4.126)

“In every town and village all over the world, My Holy name will be spread.”

Śrīla Saccidananda Bhaktivinod Ṭhākura has written the following topics in his article ‘Achara o Prachar’ (Practicing and Preaching):

After seeing the foremost of devotees, Śrī Haridāsa Ṭhākura, the most wise personality, Śrī Sanātana Gosvāmī, had spoken this, as stated in Śrī  Caitanya-caritāmṛta , Antya 4:102-03):

āpane ācare keha, nā kare pracāra

pracāra karena keha, nā karena ācāra                                              (Cc Antya 4.102)

‘ācāra’, ‘pracāra’, — nāmera karaha ‘dui’ kārya

tumi — sarva-guru, tumi jagatera ārya                                            (Cc Antya 4.103)

"You simultaneously perform both duties in relation to the holy name by your personal behavior and by your preaching. Therefore, you are the spiritual master of the entire world, for you are the most advanced devotee in the world."

O saintly readers! Kindly consider the statement of Śrī Sanātana Gosvāmī  very carefully. According to ruci, or taste, there are three kinds of devotees—those are who practice-oriented, those who are preaching-oriented, and those who do both. Among uttama, madhyama and kaniṣṭha devotees, those who practice and preach are the best. Those who only practice is madhyama, and those who only preach are kaniṣṭha. To practice religious principles is called acara, and to preach those religious principles to others is called pracara. To engage in acara or pracara, one must first learn the religious principles pertaining to saintly persons. After learning these principles, some start to preach even before they themselves practice. This does not yield much result. This is confirmed in the Brahmavaivarta Purāṇa:

upadesam karoti eva na pariksyam karoti yah

apariksya upadistam yat lokanasaya tad bhavet

“By propagating religious principles without practicing them personally, various disturbances are created in the world."

In history, and in the day-to-day lives of mankind, many examples of this are seen. When householder devotees act as acaryas and award the sannyāsa garb and mantras, it becomes very inauspicious for those who accept the sannyāsa order in this way. This is being experienced everywhere.

Among householders, those who are expert in cultivating the nine-fold practices of devotional service are the only ones qualified to occupy the position of an acarya in the bhakti cult. Some people do not engage in the practices of pure devotional service, but rather practice the system approved by the smārta community attached to karma-kāṇḍa. Their instructions regarding the science of devotional service are opposed to the scriptures. In order to preach, one must first practice.

Those who neglect preaching as ordained by saintly persons benefit the world less than the preachers. This is confirmed by the statement of Śrī Haridāsa, as recorded in Śrī Caitanya-bhāgavata (Adi 16.284-86):

japa-karta haite ucca-sankīrtana-kari sata-guna adhika se puranete dhari

“The Purāṇas say that a person who chants the Lord's name loudly is a hundred times more pious that the person who chants to himself.”

suna, vipra! mana diyd ihdra kdrana japi' apanare sabe karaye posana

“O brāhmaṇa, listen carefully to the reason behind this. One who softly chants the holy names liberates only himself.”

ucca kari' karile govinda-sankīrtana jantu-matra sunisai pai vimocana

“One who loudly chants the name of Govinda, however, liberates himself along with all living entities who hear him.”

Śrī Caitanyadeva, the purifier of the contamination of Kali, appeared in Śrī Navadvipa in order to deliver the conditioned souls oppressed by this age of quarrel. The Lord, along with His associates, taught that the congregation chanting of the holy name of Hari is the religion for Kali-yuga. It is not that He incarnated to deliver only a few human beings in the land of Bharata-varsa. His mission was to deliver the conditioned souls of all countries of the world by spreading this eternal religion. He Himself said this:

prthivite ache yata nagaradi grama sarvatra pracara hoibe mora nama

“In every town and village, the chanting of My name will be heard.” (Caitanya-bhāgavata Antya 4.126)

There is no doubt that very soon this indisputable prediction will be practically carried out. All religious systems presently practiced in the world will combine to become nama-sankīrtana—this appears to be a firm reality. Throughout the world, a strong interest in this religion is seen, and it appears that very soon a unique religion in the form of the essence of all religious systems will be propagated throughout the world. What is that religion? It is needless to say that the religious systems that quarrel and compete with one another in the Western countries, as well as in Jambudvipa, will vanish. Because unreasonable beliefs are very strongly maintained in the established religious systems, there are inevitable differences and prejudices. When those unreasonable beliefs are removed, all religious systems will merge together to become a universal religion.

Now let us carefully consider what principles of religion will remain in a universal religion. The Supreme Personality of Godhead is one without a second, and His spiritual form is eternal and full of knowledge and bliss. He is free from all faults and is a reservoir of all transcendental qualities. The living entities are small spiritual sparks emanating from the complete whole.

In the material world, cultivation of God Consciousness is the living entities' eternal dharma. To glorify the Supreme Lord's transcendental qualities and to establish brotherhood with others in relation to love of God is the purest form of dharma. Gradually, as the unreasonable portions of the established religions are removed there will remain no essential differences in bhajana performed by the various sampradāyas, and thus there will no longer be quarrels between one sampradāya and another. Then the members of all varṇas, and the people of all countries, will naturally engage in congregational chanting of the holy names of the supremely worshipable Supreme Personality of Godhead as brothers.

At that time, no one will hate anyone, considering him to be a dog-eater. People will no longer be bewildered by the pride of caste and thus not forget the natural brotherhood that exists among all living entities. At that time, Haridāsa will pour a pitcher of love of God into the mouth of Śrīvasa, and Śrīvasa, after smearing the dust from Haridāsa's feet all over his body will spontaneously dance while exclaiming, “O Caitanya! O Nityānanda!”

The matchless supreme religion of śrī hari-nama-sankīrtana will soon be preached throughout the world. Symptoms of this awakening are being seen everywhere. The Christians have already started relishing the nectar of the holy name with mridanga and karatālas. Christian scholars are taking Śrī Caitanyadeva's mṛdaṅgas and karatālas to their countries, such as England. The brahminical community, after delivering lectures with conclusions such as "Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Personality of Godhead", "The glories of the holy name are unlimited", and "all spiritual perfection is achieved by the mercy of the devotees," is dancing and singing with mṛdaṅgas and karatālas.

"The two brothers have advented, by seeing whom one's eyes become anointed with love of God."

Moreover, the Christians from the Salvation Army are performing sankīrtana in an indirect way. After seeing this, we firmly hope that the time for carrying out the order of Śrī Caitanya has come. Although kīrtana has not manifested in its purest form in sampradāyas other than the Vaiṣṇava sampradāyas, there is no doubt that within a very short time Śrīman Mahāprabhu's prediction will come true. After all, nothing becomes prefect and clear in its first presentation—At first, a revolutionary movement appears mixed, but then soon it becomes pure and clear.

Alas! When will that day come when the fortunate persons of England, France, Russia, and America create a wave of harinama-kīrtana by chanting the name of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu again and again in their respective countries, accompanied by the sound of mridangas and karatālas, and carrying flags and banners? When will that day come when white-colored British people will chant jai sacinandana ki jai and extend their arms, and in a brotherly mood, embrace the devotees of our country? When will that day come when they will say, "O Aryan brothers, we have taken shelter of Caitanyadeva in the ocean of love of God, kindly embrace us.” When will that day come when pure vaiṣṇava-prema will become the only religion for all people so that just as rivers merge into the ocean, all insignificant religious systems merge into vaiṣṇava-dharma? When will that day come?

Remember that Śrīla Saccidananda Bhaktivinod Ṭhākura was not such a foolish as to allow him (Śrī Bimala Prasada) to sit in a solitary place like Ula Birnagar peacefully to count three laks of Śrī Harinam daily by providing him the paternal property (or assets) to cheat him, because Śrīla Ṭhākura was well aware of the fact for why this eternal Gaura pārṣada – Śrīla  Bimala Prasad has come down here on this material planet.  That is why before leaving his body Śrīla Ṭhākura Bhaktivinod wanted to give some very very special responsibilities to Śrīla  Prabhupāda (Śrīla Bimala Prasada Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvatī) like the first one is to install daiva varṇāśrama dharma in our society to stop the insult of those śuddha Vaiṣṇavas those who all apparently taking birth in a low cast (or family), because Bipin Bihari Ji always wanted to establish the supremacy of those brahmanas and Jati Gosāis over those śuddha Vaiṣṇavas, though from different scriptural evidences like Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Mahābhārata, Upaniṣadas, Śrī  Caitanya-caritāmṛta or Śrī  Caitanya-bhāgavata  etc. this can be established very easily that Vaiṣṇavas are always  absolutely superior to others. This is just the opposite of what Bipin Bihari Ji wanted to establish. This means that he was completely against Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam or Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta etc. One such example given below from Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam seventh canto for your kind consideration—

viprād dvi-ṣaḍ-guṇa-yutād aravinda-nābha-

pādāravinda-vimukhāt śvapacaṁ variṣṭham

manye tad-arpita-mano-vacanehitārtha-

prāṇaṁ punāti sa kulaṁ na tu bhūrimānaḥ                                   (ŚB 7.9.10)

If a brāhmaṇa having all twelve of the Brahminical qualifications but still he is not a devotee, if he is averse to the lotus feet of the Lord, he is certainly inferior to a devotee who previously was a dog-eater but at present who has developed complete dedication unto the Lotus feet of the Supreme Lord offering everything — mind, words, activities, wealth and life — to the Supreme Lord. Such a devotee is far better than such a brāhmaṇa because the devotee can purify his whole family, whereas the so-called brāhmaṇa in a position of false prestige cannot purify even himself.

The second advice (or responsibility) of Śrīla Ṭhākura was to arrange Śrī Navadvīpa-dhāma-parikramā for all those common people free of cost so that they can get absolute mangal.

The third advice (or responsibility) of Śrīla Ṭhākura was to arrange Dham development (unnayana sevā)  sevā like easy transportation facility, hospital facility, school-college facility etc. in favour of the exposal of the absolute secret glories of Śrī Dham in front of the whole world, which has become true today. All those orders were executed by The Prabhupāda (without failure) with full enthusiastic mood.

Gauḍīya Goṣṭhī Pati Śrī Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda Paramahāmsa Jagad Guru said that— “Do not try to discover the nature of truth by the experience of your imagination. Do not endeavor to attain the truth through experience of the world. Do not manufacture Truth in order to satisfy your erring inclinations, or hastily   accept anything for the reason that it satisfies such inclinations. Do not regard as truth anything that has been “build up” or has the support of a majority of people like yourself, nor as untruth anything that is rejected by the overwhelming majority.  According to the scriptures there will be found hardly one in a crore of human beings – who really worships the Truth (from heart). What is proclaimed by the united voices of all the people of this world as Truth may turn out to be false. Therefore cease to confront the Truth in a challenging mood. The truth is not brought into existence by such arrogance. One has to approach the Truth in the spirit of absolute submission…………”

Very often Śrīla Prabhupāda used to say that— “Logical interpretation cannot stand in the way of that absolute truth. If I seek the path leading towards the ultimate good, then I must ignore the countless voices of popular wisdom, and listen only to that of the realized soul.” He further said that the most fundamental reason behind all such criticism is that, they start their criticism about the subject matters relating to the higher platform (logical judgment) from the platform in which they are put into at present, that is why they are always misled. They start their judgment directly from the material platform in which they are put into at present, so they become in great confusion due to the illusionary energy or Maya, that is the reason for why they are always developing delusion, so what solution can be there for them. But in the way of divine shroutha pantha – there all perfect solution of any problem or all problems can be found. That is why in the way of shroutha pantha all different kind of methods of assumptions or whatever material experiences gathered over the years in anyone’s personal life period can never be accepted at all, because this is called ascending process.

It seems that unfortunately your group is completely lacking the most fundamental need or requirement of devotional background—which is called unalloyed submission unto the lotus feet of any tattva-vid realized Sad Guru.

From the comments of Niti Shastravit Chanakya Paṇḍita we can find the following śloka which is just fitting for you all.

duratah shobhote murkha lamba mana pata brithah

tavad ca shobhote murkha javat kinchit na bhasate                  (A śloka by Chanakya Paṇḍita)

“Really a foolish can decorate any assembly only by his physical appearance dressed up with nice cloths—so long as he is silently sitting, but as soon as he speaks something then it can be detected immediately how foolish he is.”

This is nothing but maya that your group always running wrong way, so we don’t like to waste our valuable time of bhajan to fight with you all because everything is clear in front of those wise people or genuine sincere devotees.

Indeed, all your bogus childish useless fanciful random conclusions can create only a laughing stroke inside the heart of those wise personalities or sādhus. Only by the application of common sense one can easily detect or understand your dangerous jealousy or fighting mood. Actually idle brain is the workshop of devil. Your rotten grihasta language like father-son relationship etc. can prove that you are nothing more than a fallen (bonded) soul. The Prabhupāda never used to say that type of cheap word like what your group always using. Whereas the second son of Śrīla Saccidananda Bhaktivinod Ṭhākura always was habituated to use or maintain father-son relationship, so that is why he was given the father’s property at Ula Birnagar Nadia by his father Śrīla Saccidananda Bhaktivinod Ṭhākura to cheat him to spoil his life because he wanted to be cheated by him (Śrīla Saccidananda Bhaktivinod Ṭhākura). Remember that Śrīla Saccidananda Bhaktivinod Ṭhākura has declared about The Prabhupāda – Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Bimala Prasad that—

Sarasvatī kṛṣṇa-priya,         kṛṣṇa-bhakti ta'r hiya

Vinoder sei se vaibhava                                                       (Kalyana Kalpataru)

Paravidya Sarasvatī (Śrīla Prabhupāda Bimala Prasad Sarasvatī) is Kṛṣṇa Priya, whose heart is full of Kṛṣṇa bhakti. This is the absolute opulence of Vinoda (Śrīla Ṭhākura Bhaktivinod).
