We hear from our guru-varga that once Śrīla Prabhupāda Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura discussed for a long time with the local district Magistrate, giving all his blood to make him understand the divine message of Śrīman Mahāprabhu, but that magistrate was saying that— “Most of your followers seems highly educated. Is it your mission to turn educated people into mendicants?” Saying this he got up abruptly and left. Later on, when Śrīla Saranga Gosvami Maharaja came back from bhikṣā, he noticed that the magistrate’s criticism had made Śrīla Prabhupāda unhappy. Immediately Śrīla Saranga Gosvami Maharaja got up and went to that man, convincing him that he had made a great offence unto the Lotus Feet of such a divine Personality sent by Bhagavan himself. And that fourteen generations of his family will have to suffer in hell. After both of them went to Śrīla Prabhupāda, and he begged forgiveness. In that way Śrīla Saranga Gosvami Maharaj saved him from a terrible offence against such a great Mahapurush. Śrīla Saranga Gosvami Maharaj was so merciful, so merciful that he always tried to find a way out for those who have offended Śrīla Prabhupāda, because he knew clearly what will be their fate.
We (all the sincere members of Śrī Bhakti Siddhānta Vāṇī Seva Trust) also like to follow the great exalted Prabhupāda parshad Śrīla Bhakti Saranga Gosvami Maharaj. We can solemnly say that we have direct experience of how much transcendental blood Śrīla Baba Maharaj is giving day and night to make us understand what is Bhaktivinod Dhara. This kind of operation, which is absolutely necessary nowadays, we should not avoid at all, though it is very painful to undergo this kind of operation.
On behalf of Śrīla Bhakti Saranga Gosvami Maharaj, we like to give you all the warning that please try to understand the basic difference between Bhaktivinod dhara and Non Bhaktivinod Dhara to avoid committing offence unto the Lotus feet of Śrīla Baba Maharaj, those who are thinking him as their enemy for his strict siddhānta vichar and ācaraṇa.
As Śrīla Bhakti Saranga Gosvami Maharaj was completely aware about the divine dignity of Śrīla Prabhupāda, we also are totally aware of Śrīla Shyam Das Baba Maharaj’s honest desire to protect and preserve the divine dignity of our Gauḍīya guru-varga and Gauḍīya Math.
All those who ever had the great fortune to associate with Śrīla Baba Maharaj they know very well how Śrīla Maharaj nourishes each and every one unconditionally, regardless what background they have. His deep love and concern about the right representation and understanding of Bhakti Siddhānta Vāṇī intact way is known to us all. All that we have received from Śrīla Baba Maharaj is something which is beyond our imagination, because he is always ready to give even the last drop of blood of his life to establish all the siddhānta vichars of Śrīla Prabhupāda intact way.
Surely, we have our fundamental right to protect and preserve the divine dignity of our Gauḍīya guru-varga and Gauḍīya Math, so we must defend all those negative forces. It is a fact that everything cannot just be hidden like the skeleton in the closet, rather we have to face and confront all those sensitive issues with an impartial mood. So for all of you those who are standing on a neutral platform and who have the patience please take a look at all the authentic information available on our website.
We know it very well from śāstra that vaiṣṇava-aparādha can never be excused anyway.
Please consider the following ślokas from Sri Caitanya Caritamrita—
śūlapāṇi-sama yadi vaiṣṇavere ninde
tathāpiha nāśa paya—kahe śāstra -vṛnde
"Even if some one of the level of the supremely powerful devotee and gunavatara Lord Shiva blasphemes a devotee, he will soon be destroyed. This is the verdict of all the scriptures." (CB Madhya 22.56)
ihā nā māniyā ye sujana nindā kare mad
janme janme se pāpiṣṭha daive dose mare
"Sinful people who ignore the above fact and critcize devotees suffer the heaviest of all punishment of providence birth and birth."(57)
anyera ki dayā gaura-siṁhera jananī
tāṅhāre o vaishnavaparadha kari gani
"What to speak of others, even the supreme mother of the Supreme Lord Himself Gaura Simha was not exempt from being considered an offender of a Vaiṣṇava." (58)
prabhu bale -- upadeśa kahite se pāri
vaishnavaparadha āmi khaṇḍāite nāri
"Lord Gaurāṅga Himself replied— 'I can give instructions how to eliminate the aparadha (like in the case of Durvāsā and Ambarīṣa), but I Myself even though being the Supreme Lord am unable to destroy an offense against a Vaiṣṇava.'" (32)
In all different śāstras we can find countless such example, then why it is not possible for you to realize this point which we want to clarify. That is the main question.
Why after so many years of Svami Maharajs departure we can find all the same offensive statements in books, papers, internet, etc. Is it not strange that Svami Maharaj’s own followers are not at all ready to omit and remove those confusing statements in spite of our repeated request for the past 40 years on behalf of Sarasvat Gauḍīya vaiṣṇava-sanga, then how we can accept them as true followers of Śrīla Svami Maharaj.
Common people thinking according to their own estimation that Śrīla Shyam Das Baba is an offender, because he very clearly pointed out all the severe mistakes (which all are preserved by them in the internet storage). We cannot just tolerate that those misinformation can go on flowing generation after generation to spoil the whole world. Because this is our most fundamental right to protect and preserve the divine dignity of our Gauḍīya guru-varga and Gauḍīya Math.
Who told that our honourable Svami Maharaj never received any help from his Godbrothers. When Śrīla Svami Maharaj was in great trouble regarding his family matters than Śrīla Bhakti Daitya Madhava Gosvami Maharaj was ready to embrace him to help him anyway.
"Śrīla Prabhupāda ordered Śri Abhayacaraṇāravinda Prabhu to preach in the western countries. However, at that time, Śri Abhayacaraṇāravinda Prabhu was unable to fulfill his gurus’ desire due to his family responsibilities as a householder. He did his best to maintain his family by establishing several pharmaceutical businesses in cities such as Kolkata, Mumbai and Allahabad, but despite his arduous efforts, his ventures proved unsuccessful. As a result of the great hardships he faced, his family members were constantly dissatisfied with him. Even when he fell ill, not a single member of his family came forward to help him. At that time, my guru-pādapadma, Śrī Śrīmad Bhakti Dayita Mādhava Gosvāmī Mahārāja kindly arranged for Śrī Abhayacaraṇāravinda Prabhu’s treatment."

"Once, Abhay Charanaravinda Das Adhikari Prabhu contracted tuberculosis. There was no proper medicine at the time and his wife and other family members did not allow him to stay in the home as it was an infectious disease. The Supreme Lord inspired Śrīla Bhakti Dayita Madhava Goswami Maharaja to bring Abhay Charanaravinda Das Adhikari Prabhu to his temple, Śrī Caitanya Gauḍīya Math in Kolkata, and look after him. After six months under the care of Śrīla Madhava Goswami Maharaja who arranged for expensive medications and personal care, Abhay Charanaravinda Das Adhikari Prabhu was physically healed by the mercy of the Supreme Lord. After all, the Lord is our actual shelter. This is an example of genuine Vaiṣṇava culture, keeping amicable relations in order to carry forward the loving mission of Śrī Caitanya."
Even if any Vaiṣṇava is not getting any help from anybody, surely, he is going to think that it must be the arrangement of Bhagavan, so he has no scope to speak all rubbish to anybody. So really, we cannot expect such dirty remarks from our honourable Śrīla Svami Maharaj.
