Śrīla Prabhupāda in his childhood one day was walking down the street at north Kolkata Belgetchia with some of his guardians. Suddenly he could hear that some horse shouting very heavily, as if someone going to kill that horse. But finally he discovered that one veterinary doctor of that veterinary hospital making one necessary operation on the hoof of that horse by the help of some very powerful men to catch the horse very tightly to help the operation go smoothly for the benefit of the horse but the loud shouting of the horse can never allow anybody to realize that this operation is for the benefit of the horse. In his childhood Śrīla Prabhupāda could realize the painful condition of bonded souls like the horse. When Guru-Vaiṣṇavas they want to make some operation on us to rectify our painful material disease due to the presence of those fearful anarthas inside our heart to deliver us from māyā than we start shouting like mad to prove that Guru-Vaiṣṇavas they are going to kill us. We cannot understand the causeless mercy of Guru-Vaiṣṇavas on us.
