In the history of Venkateswara temple in Tirupati seva prakasha such fearful incident never happened before!

Already just this year at the Ratha-yātrā Festival in Jagannātha Purī a most unfortunate and unexpected incident which never happened before in the history of Śrī Jagannātha Deva Mandir sevā prakāśa took place. The displacement of Baldau-ji from the hands of the sevākas while he was being carried down from the chariot, surely was a deadly and unfortunate indication of great amaṅgala.

Now just shortly after that incident another very black moment for Bharat Varsha, the discovery of some adulterated temple prasādaṁ took place. All the test results regarding the laḍḍus have revealed, shockingly, that beef tallow, fish oil, lard (pig fat) and palm oil among other things were used to make those laḍḍus which were distributed as prasād or prasādaṁ (sacred food according to Hindu tradition) at the popular Śrī Venkateswara temple in Tirupati, a prominent Hindu pilgrimage. “They (YSRC government) not only provided substandard food to the devotees, such as Anna Prasādaṁ in Tirumala, but also used inferior quality ingredients to make prasādaṁ, which is offered to Lord Venkateswara. Instead of using pure ghee, they used animal fat.”

Currently, political policies, social policies, economic policies and even religious policies have become contaminated with immorality by the influence of Kali-yuga. Because of an abundance of the mode of ignorance, human character is being blemished, either openly or secretly, by many events such as this one. Nowadays everywhere we can see the unrelenting endeavour of untruth to remain dominant and be perceived as the truth; conspiring to fulfil one’s self-interests in the name of patriotism; the propagation of disgraceful and narrow mentalities disguised in the garb of demonstrations of social liberal policy; utter deceitfulness in the name of religious policies, so much so that even temple prasādaṁ are adulterated; and the existence of falsehood, treachery and immorality, even in the field of religious policies. At such an ill-fated moment, i very earnestly pray for the unlimited expansion of Śrī Caitnaya-vāṇī, the messenger (vārttā-vāhikā) of the purest devotion to both Śrī Kṛṣṇa—the topmost truth and embodiment of all the worlds mellows—and Śrī Caitanyadeva—the embodiment of the highest limit of kṛṣṇa-prema.

In the splendid, versatile characteristics of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu – The Supreme Lord, the perfect, real solution to all the problems of all people of all times and of all countries of the entire world is included. The solution which the greatly thoughtful personalities of the present age and the great sages of the ancient time, could not find out and are not being able to find out and by exercising their researching capacities and intellect, or the innumerable problems of the innumerable ages that are present in a subtle form in the all devouring ocean of the innumerable future time factor, as well as the solution to the thousand faced quarrelling problems which is beyond the capacity of the renowned personalities of the world – the perfect and real solution to all those problems is found in the spotless character of Śrī Caitanya. The present problem of creating a platform of world peace, not theoretically (not just in talking) but practically (in reality), in other words, realization of self-esteem or rejection of dependence is completely inclusive in the most munificent contribution contributions of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu –The Supreme Lord.

The standard of human life has come down to such a low level that our urge for sense gratification has made us utmost blind. Because only those who are material driven by lust can try to cheat the public by manipulating and diluting the temple prasādaṁ. Such an extremely shameful event shows the utmost disrespect for the Lord and his devotees. We only can earnestly pray for those who have fallen down to such a low level.

Śrī Caitnaya-vāṇī is the word of love. Only love can establish true maṅgala in our life. We can say with the utmost confidence that besides love, there exists no worldly policy—whether economic, social, national or religious—that can succeed in establishing peace among the members of a particular family, community or country, what to speak of the whole world. Therefore, it is my earnest prayer unto the lotus feet of Śrī Caitnaya-vāṇī, so that it may sprinkle its mercy throughout the whole world: “O Śrī Caitnaya-vāṇī! Mercifully engage me and all the people of this world in Your service and thereby reveal Your unparalleled mercy for everyone.”

All glories to Śrī Caitnaya-vāṇī! All glories to its servitors and all gentlemen respectful of its existence! May all the people of this world engage in hearing and speaking Śrī Caitnaya-vāṇī, and thereby march forward on the path of true auspiciousness.
