All glories to Śrī Śrī Guru-Gauranga
No Enmity, Only Solution – Part 11
By sampradāya-saṁrakṣaka Śrī Śyām Dās Babajī Mahārāj
Date: 19.07.2025
On behalf of the whole Sarasvat Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava saṅga and Visva Vaiṣṇav Raj Saba we have some honest enquiries to present in front of your International Society with a strong hope to get honest reply
Nowadays some so-called religious sampradāya mould and train their children in such a way so that they grow up to become enemy of Hindus. In a similar way your international organisation is always trying to train the newcomers in such a way so that they can become gradually against Gauḍīya dhārā by pushing poisoned words into the veins of their basic faith system.
Here we present some of our honest questions, with the expectation to be honestly answered by your International Society are given below with an expectation to get your honest reply:
1. Does ‘ISKCON’ society identify as belonging to Sarasvat Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava sampradāya? If yes, how is this connection established? Which are the evidences of such connection today?
2. Is this institution made of niṣkapaṭa followers of Śrīla Saccidananda Bhaktivinod Ṭhākura and Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda? Do they at all honour the most authentic Gauḍīya philosophical book ‘Jaiva Dharma’ from heart, which is treated as the most inestimable treasure of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava samaj?
3. Does ISKCON ever avoid topics related with Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda, his Gauḍīya Maṭha, his eternal pārṣadas and his rigorous instructions? Yes or no?
4. Does ‘ISKCON’ society accept at all the real Gauḍīya ādarśa (idealism) of serving the divine couple Śrī Śrī Radha Govinda Deva under total and strict guidance of Śrī Śrī Gauranga Mahāprabhu and His rigid and immutable instructions? Yes or no?
5. According to time and circumstances does ISKCON ever hide the Absolute Truth or distort facts and figures or our sacred Siddhānta vichar (in different books and papers or hari-kathās) in order to attract more and more people all over the world? Yes or no?
6. Does ISKCON still restrict the reading of Gaudiya Math sadhus original books (or papers and articles) while copying their contents and rewriting the same books with slight different words and publishing them by your sannyasis? Yes or no?
7. Does ISKCON society restrict or forbid innocent people from receiving Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s mercy through a normal relation with Gaudiya Math? Yes or no?
8. Does ISKCON society restrict or forbid the same innocent people from attending all those unalloyed śravaṇaṁ-kīrtana arranged by Gauḍīya Maṭhas. Yes or no?
9. Does ISKCON society confuse innocent souls by not indicating Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda by his transcendental title as ‘The Prabhupāda’ using a title that belongs to a guru to indicate his disciple? With the hidden intention to indicate Śrīla Bhakti Vedanta Svami Mahārāja as the only Prabhupāda? Yes or no?
10. Does ISKCON society distort facts and figures and even siddhānta vichar in their new publications? Is it true that your BBT made one hundred and eight changes in the publication of Bhagavad Gita As It Is? Yes or No?
11. Is there an intentional program to project ‘ISKCON’ as the original Temple by ignoring Śrī Caitanya Gauḍīya Maṭha as the source of our Sarasvat Gauḍīya bhajana. Yes or no?
12. Are there efforts to establish ‘ISKCON’- Temple (at Śrī Dham Mayapur) as the original birth place of Śrī Gauranga Mahāprabhu by ignoring the original āvirbhāva place Śrī Yogapīṭha Śrī Mandir. Yes or no?
13. Why does ISKCON organize joint festival with Sarasvat Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava saṅga if they consider us enemies and offenders? Are they organized only to fulfil personal purposes or to make us believe that some kind of peace is going to happen? Are the joint festivals in which ISKCON invites Gauḍīya Maṭh to participate just a public drama? Yes or no?
14. Was there a plan, a secret program on the strength of money-power (like the dangerous Rahu swallowing the moon) to insure the sole existence of ‘ISKCON’ Society all over the world, a special trick (plan or program) of breaking all the main gates of all those main road sides of Gauḍīya Maṭhas on the pretext of widening the main road of Śrī Mayapur. What a nice plan and program (politics) to destroy all those Gauḍīya Maṭhas, Isn’t it? Yes, or no?
15. If not possible in near future, still at least within coming 200 years your plan and program going on to establish ‘ISKCON’ as the only devotional society to get control over the whole Gauḍīya devotional field all over the world. Towards this end a special secret plan and program going on very secretly. Yes, or no?
Meditating on how to behave in front of greedy manipulative personalities
The Prabhupāda used to say that: “That I should never develop any negative mood for those who think at me their enemy, but only pray for their maṅgal. Listen all pāṣaṇḍas (heartless person, who have greed for money, those who desire to arrange their personal lābha, pūjā, pratiṣṭhā or kāminī-kāñcana to utilize those things for their own sense gratification), I seek blessings from Bhagavan and all devotees, so that I never have to see these people faces (of those pāṣaṇḍas) for the rest of my life.”
If for the sake of individual self-interest, we can sacrifice our sva sampradāik interest (or Bhaktivinod dhārā), then a terrible situation can arise to deprive the whole world of śuddha bhakti as the result for supporting wrong siddhānta vichars or non-devotional practices. The leaders of our sampradāya should be always alert about their duty to get control over this situation. Just like Śrīla Bhaktivinod Ṭhākura advised us.
Śrīla Saccidananda Bhaktivinod Ṭhākura has said that— “To run a devotional organisation of hari-kathā kīrtana we surely need some dedicated personalities, it’s true. But if such organisation, is composed by artificially dedicated personalities (kapat), like actors playing drama hiding selfish qualities or predominated by raja-tama guṇās, then their external vairāgya exhibition (even if they are dressed as brahmacārī, sannyāsī etc.) such organisation based on lābha, pūjā, pratiṣṭhā (or kāminī-kāñcana) become more and more dangerous for all mankind. Because if no one is there to establish and sustain the great ideal of perfect preaching, the dirty activities of those so-called Vaisnavas will attract scandal and even karmik people will be able to spit on them. One organisation composed of useless false renunciates can only defame our Gauḍīya devotional field, and to remain silence is nothing but giving criminal indulgence that can lead up to a snow ball of terrible offences in course of time. So in that case, it is never be possible to preach our beautiful bhakti cult or to bring maṅgal in this world with the help of a discrepant organisation, which is condemned to distribute sin and offensive activities.”— The whole quotation was taken from original magazine Gauḍīya.
Śrīla Visvanath Chakravarti Ṭhākura wrote in his Bhagavat Commentaries that— “Those fair hearted personalities (niṣkapaṭa) like Yayāti Maharaj, Ajāmila or Soubhari Risi will somehow, someday be able to attain maṅgal by developing real vairāgya or detachment in course of their usual acceptance of enjoyment (bhoga) through the approved procedures explained in śāstras.”
The Prabhupāda used to say that: “In this world almost 100% of people could more or less be considered impersonalists and favourable of material conception (darśanik vichar), because of that we cannot allow all those śuddha bhakti siddhānta vichars to be distorted by them.” Prabhupāda further used to ask us: “Do we want the Lotus feet of Hari-Guru-Vaiṣṇavas or not? To test this resolution Kṛṣṇa sends all different kinds of fearful situations in front us.“ The Prabhupāda further used to say that: “The Absolute Truth is not such a cheap thing that this can be destroyed by bluffing, conspiracy, impersonalists, by a guru drohi sampradāya (anti guru sampradāya) or in any other way. Anyway The Absolute Truth cannot be strangled nor eliminated. That Absolute Truth can surely come down or appear to protect me if my life is completely dedicated for that same Absolute Truth and then, nobody could destroy me.”
It is not at all a question of infighting or politics; on the contrary, the most vital question is: the survival of our real self.
According to the evidence of the whole scriptural analytical judgment, ‘Bhakti’ is pure nectar. So, only fools could ever choose unstable material lābha, pūjā, pratiṣṭhā and avoid eternal nectar. So if out of simple jealousy ungodly people try to criticize our viśuddha Gauḍīya guru-varga or Gauḍīya Maṭha what would be the result? Such act would be just like punching against ‘fist of fury’ in the sky, nothing else. Kaṁsā, Śiśupāla, Jarasanda, Rukmī and Duryodhana always wanted to criticize Śrī Kṛṣṇa and they even wanted to kill Him. Also Devaraj Indra wanted to insult and destroy Kṛṣṇa, but they could do nothing. Their dirty remarks and behaviour only proved their demonic character. But these personalities never payed serious attention to our strong grief and humble expressions.
From Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam we can see the comment of Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī:
kiṁ duḥsahaṁ nu sādhūnāṁ
viduṣāṁ kim apekṣitam
kim akāryaṁ kadaryāṇāṁ
dustyajaṁ kiṁ dhṛtātmanām (ŚB 10.1.58)
Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī told to Parīkṣit Mahārāja: “Nothing is unbearable for those sādhus, they can bear anything. Vidyans (or realised soul) never expect anything from anybody. On the other hand, selfish dirty blind personalities, due to their self-interest can do all kinds of criminal activities, nothing is impossible for them, they are capable of doing any prohibited activity, but those atmavid puruṣa they are ready to leave everything.”
This is the standing order of Śrīla Prabhupāda: “The only duty of each svarūpa āśritā Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava is to rectify all those anti devotional activities and wrong siddhānta vichars when visible in devotional society. That is why those Śrī Caitanya Maṭh āśritā śuddha bhaktas (those who have taken shelter of Śrī Caitanya Maṭha) are śaraṇāgata (surrendered) unto the Lotus feet of Caitanya Maṭha to render actual sevā of Śrī Gaura.” So according to the order or indication of Śrīla Prabhupāda, this rectifying effort, this protest note will surely become effective in each and every level of the whole true devotional kingdom. We hope so.
We should always remember that only and only under the absolute anugatya of Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda the appropriate preaching of ‘Bhaktivinod Gaura Vani’ is possible.
As and when the original or fundamental interest of sevā Rajya (the realm of devotional service) is disturbed or disrupted, in that case true love and transcendental rapture would not achieve the same significance.
When all sampradāik sādhus together can have the same common objective of Guru-Gauranga sevā without any mutual fighting or jealousy, then they can seek the complete satisfaction of the sevya vastu of Sri Krsna Bhagavan.
By following the appropriate way of ekayan panthā our absolute great mission of Gaura vani prachar can come out successful.
“To become a dust particle unto the Lotus feet of those Śrī Rūpanugas is our absolute target” (by Śrīla Prabhupāda)
“Preaching devoid of perfect acharan belong to the category of karma” (by Śrīla Prabhupāda)
The Prabhupāda used to say that: “Until and unless hundred percent submission is there unto the Lotus Feet of Bhagavan, one cannot speak about the Absolute Truth fearlessly.”
As we mentioned before The Prabhupāda repeatedly said that— “The Absolute Truth is not such a cheap thing that this can be destroyed by bluffing, conspiracy, impersonalists, by a guru drohi sampradāya (anti guru sampradāya) or in any other way. Anyway The Absolute Truth cannot be strangled nor eliminated. That Absolute Truth can surely come down or appear to protect me if my life is completely dedicated for that same Absolute Truth and then, nobody could destroy me.”
In the following pages we present many documents to proof your deviation from the track of śrauta panthā.
From "RESOLUTIONS OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2025":
"Whereas our acaryas, such as Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, have provided some such statements, but for ISKCON it would be more appropriate to base such statements on Srila Prabhupada's books as his teachings are our primary source of evidence and philosophical understanding."
From "A Concise Statement of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava Siddhānta for the International Society for Kṛṣṇa Consciousness":
"Every successful sampradāya, from ancient times to the present, has some sort of concise, memorable statements to encapsulate its explanation of universal, eternal, and trans-contextual truth. In our sampradāya, founded by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī’s Ṣaṭsandarbhas contain a systematic, in-depth exposition of siddhānta, which Śrīla Prabhupāda explained throughout his books. However, because the complete corpus of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s teachings is so vast—including his books, lectures, letters, etc.—a concise presentation of siddhānta is also essential and practical. "
"[...] Keeping all the above in mind, we in ISKCON could certainly use Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura’ Daśa-mūla-tattva as our concise statement of siddhānta. However, since Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books are the primary source of evidence and philosophical understanding for the members of ISKCON, it is more appropriate to base the short formulation of siddhānta on his own words. At the same time, it is also important to show clearly that Śrīla Prabhupāda’s teachings are in complete harmony with the teachings of the previous ācāryas."
Śrīla Prabhupāda’s Summary of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava Siddhānta from the catuḥ-ślokī Bhāgavatam
"Following the previous ācāryas, in this paper, we describe in gist ten cardinal points of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava siddhānta, as taught by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and presented by Śrīla Prabhupāda. They are similar to the ten roots of siddhānta identified by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, and yet somewhat distinct. [...]"
Some excerpts From "Gaudiya Math resolutions":
"In obedience to the instruction of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the GBC directs that the members of ISKCON should respect all senior Gaudiya Vaishnavas outside ISKCON, but should not intimately associate with them, personally or through printed or recorded media, for guidance, teaching, instruction, or initiation as their presentation of Krishna consciousness often differs from that of Srila Prabhupada in emphasis, balance and other aspects of both teaching and practice."
"Srila Prabhupada is the foundational siksa guru for all ISKCON devotees because he has realized and presented the teachings of the previous acharyas of the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya sampradaya appropriately for the modern age."
"A person guilty of having recommended or encouraged a member or associate of ISKCON to accept any form of initiation outside of ISKCON or any further initiation or duplicate initiation from someone other than his bona fide ISKCON initiating spiritual master shall be corrected with a censure. If the person guilty is a spiritual authority, he shall incur automatic suspension; and if rectification is not forthcoming, then additional remedial measures may be adopted, including dismissal. If a spiritual authority has failed to discourage a member in his care from accepting re-initiation or renouncing his spiritual master, he shall be corrected with a suitable remedy."
Sixty-Four Rounds
"In former days, sixty-four rounds used to be the standard quota from Gaudiya Vaisnavas. Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura ordered his disciples to chant sixty-four rounds daily. Prabhupada saw that his Western devotees could not handle such a high quota. He asked them if they could do thirty-two rounds, and they said that was too much also. So he fixed the minimum quota at sixteen rounds, to be chanted without fail. Nowadays, many ISKCON devotees chant sixty-four rounds on Ekadasi and minimize their other activities. One reason the devotees don’t chant such a high quota is that Prabhupada has given us so many other services to do in prosecuting the Krsna Consciousness Movement. We can’t sit around all day and chant japa. A devotee asked Tamala Krsna Gosvami how he could improve his japa. TKG said that he should observe Ekadasi strictly. He should chant sixty-four rounds and stay up all night singing bhajanas. This would rejuvenate one’s spiritual life. Even that recommendation is hard to do for most of us. The sixteen rounds, chanted attentively and without offense, is sufficient."
"Nevertheless, it was his sheer spiritual genius that he made various transcendental technical adjustments to suit the current times and circumstances in order to propel the movement of Lord Caitanya forward. We should never confuse such unconventional measures with deviation from disciplic conclusion. One such adjustment was the stipulation of chanting 16 rounds a day, when originally it was 64. Another is the ṛtvik system of conducting initiations."
If at all with a well-organized pre-planned program your International Society has been doing this miss-preaching against Śrī Gauḍīya Maṭha and those eternal pārṣadas of Śrīla Prabhupāda, then surely a fearful spiritual curse will come down on your society from Nityananda Himself. We think this signal was already received by your society in the form of infighting (politics and internal competition etc.). I say it for your own good, in this way your society is approaching towards spiritual destruction, please realize that. If there is lack of self-realisation in your society or if no self-realized soul is there to guide you then who can save yourselves from spiritual downfall? Can money-power save you? Man-power? Management technique can save you? Who can have that power?
You never thought it necessary to stop and think about these vital and sensitive points related to the survival of your infinitesimal soul. Though it appear to be late, still, ‘it is never too late.’ We can beg for apology. With this strong faith you can beg for apology in front of the whole Sarasvat Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava saṅga and Visva Vaiṣṇava Raj Saba in the same way as Śrīla Bhakti Vedanta Svami Mahārāja spoke to his godbrother before leaving this material world, the founder of your International Society, in front of Gauḍīya Maṭha and Gauḍīya sādhus (our guru-varga), then at least you will rectify your society’s agenda by developing a strong faith in our transcendental Sarasvat Gauḍīya Guru-paramparā and transcendental Gauḍīya Maṭha. Surely, we are not so foolish as to file one court case against your International Society on the basis of countless documents lying with us for a long time. Because we have submitted our application unto the Lotus Feet of that Supreme authority of our devotional line Śrī Baladeva Nityānanda Prabhu Himself.
The Prabhupāda used to say that: “If we fail to protect and preserve the sankīrtana yajña agni enlightened by Śrīmān Mahāprabhu at Śrīvas Angan the sankīrtana rasa sthali, then automatically all different kinds of mutual misunderstanding, infighting, or dirty mutual competition for lābha, pūjā, pratiṣṭhā etc. all such dust particles and stone particles etc. can come in our life to cover up our ‘ceto darpan’ (mirror like heart), diverting us from the original track of hari bhajana – the reason for why we have come to this process, leaving our previous material life”.
The Prabhupāda further used to say that: “The sankīrtana agni was enlightened by Śrīmān Mahāprabhu at Śrīvas Angan—all we Gauḍīya Maṭha devotees are supposed to sacrifice our life and soul into that lightening fire of sankīrtana yajña to identify ourselves as the real followers of Śrīmān Mahāprabhu.”
To be continued…
