No Enmity, Only Solution – Part 8

Fearful vaiṣṇava aparādha can never be tolerated
Gauḍīya Goṣṭhī Pati Śrī Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda Paramahaṁsa Jagad Guru said that— “Vaiṣṇava aparādha and strong protest against vaiṣṇava aparādha looks like the same externally, but they are both very different from each other. To remain silent while Guru-Vaiṣṇavas are being insulted is, in itself a specific kind of dangerous offence which can cause downfall from the spiritual path. To lose patience (to become angry) while witnessing humiliation of Guru-Vaiṣṇavas is indeed bhakti.”
Śrīmān Mahāprabhu never tolerated any vaiṣṇava aparādha. Even Vallabha Bhatta was rejected by Him when he wanted to ignore the dignity of Śrīla Śrīdhar Svamipad and his Bhagavat commentary. Śrīmān Mahāprabhu was bound to say that those who like to ignore previous ācāryas like Śrīla Śrīdhar Svamipad those critics should be counted as prostitute. Back in Nīlācala Dham when Śrī Jagadānanda Paṇḍit, the great eternal pārṣada of Śrīmān Mahāprabhu, wanted to give some soft suitable advice to Śrī Sanātana Gosvāmīpad on being asked about what to do to avoid commiting vaiṣṇava aparādha. Because Śrīmān Mahāprabhu used to embrace Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī’s body which was full of skin disease, then He expressed firing mood against Śrī Jagadānanda Paṇḍit because of his advice to Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī, who was very senior and exalted devotee versed in śāstra vichar.
Gauḍīya Goṣṭhī Pati Śrī Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda said: “Those who are going to apply their own material mind and sense organs to pass any remark about apprakrita tattva, they become a joker (fazil and useless).” That is why many times Śrīla Prabhupāda used to say that—“Logical interpretation cannot stand in the way of that Absolute Truth.”
So how is it possible for your society acharya to pass such preposterous and disrespectful remarks against our great exalted Sarasvat Gaudiya Guruvarga? That is the most vital question on behalf of the whole Sarasvat Gaudiya Vaishnava sanga and Visva Vaisnava Raj Saba. How far and how much your society is deadly against The Original Prabhupāda (Gauḍīya Goṣṭhī Pati Śrī Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura) and his Mission (Sri Gaudiya Math) and why? That we don’t know. Whereas we know that Śrīla Prabhupāda a in course of his 100 crores Harinama Yagya at Braja Pattan (Sri Dham Mayapur Chandrashekar Acharya Bhavan, which is at present known as Sri Chaitanya Math) had a transcendental vision of Pancha Tattva (Śrīmān Mahaprabhu Himself, Lord Nityānanda, Śrī Advaita Acharya, Śrīla Gadadhāra Pandit and Srivas Pandit etc.) group together with our previous Gaudiya Guruvarga. The divine advice received by Śrīla Prabhupāda from them was confirmed by him in the following way: “We are going to send all money-power and man-power etc., whatever you might need for the massive preaching of Gaura Vani, don’t worry, go ahead.”
So this is the very clear evidence that all our Visuddha Sarasvat Guruvarga, those who are the sincere followers of Śrīla Prabhupāda, are sent by Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa Chaitanya Deva Himself. If ISKCON or Srila Svami Maharaj insist to say that these great saints are useless and a failure, so they both are surely against his own Gurudeva The Prabhupāda and His Mission (Gaudiya Math).
For the Seekers of Gaurasundara’s Selected Ones
Once, being asked by a young man in Delhi, "Why do you claim that Sri Gaudiya Math is the only way to God? Is there no other way at all?” Srila Prabhupad, the illustrious founder and Acaryya of Sri Caitanya Math and its world-wide affiliated branches Sri Gaudiya Maths, replied, “Do you think that there is any other pathway to God, than the association of those whom Godhead Himself has selected for His Service?” We have purposefully left the names and locations of Sri Gaudiya Maths mentioned in this booklet, first printed during SrilaPrabhupada’s manifested pastimes, unchanged, —without substituting them with the names and locations of any contemporary Missions, originating from Sri Caitanya Math. Let the faithful reader decide for himself where Sri Gaudiya Math is nowadays, taking guidance from the characteristics given in this holy booklet. Signboards may not direct one to Sri Gaudiya Math. While praying for the grace of Sri Sri Gaura-Nityananda to be saved from fault-finding propensities, we should look into those advices and deeds of those Gaudiya Mahajanas, and even one should go deeper into the theme to discover what is called actual transcendental Sri Gaudiya Math. Unfortunately, not every temple with the name Gaudiya Math on its porch is properly following the instructions of Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur in toto. Most of them behave in ambiguous ways imitating the modern trends of giving discounts on the process established by Sriman Mahaprabhu Himself—the Home of our Gaudiya Guru vargas. One truth can surly give hope to us in the way of our search for the aim and methods of Sri Gaudiya Math which have not changed as yet in true sense and nor will they ever.
For your kind information
For your kind information we are quoting some direct evidence of the result of fearful Vaishnava apparadhas from Sri Chaitanya Bhagavat Antya Khanda, Chapter 4.

What all were published under the signature of Srila Swami Maharaj himself—
Here are some references from Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta ISKCON edition about some disrespectful remarks that were published under the signature of Śrīla Svami Mahārāja (who used to be called Prabhupāda by his own followers) about Gauḍīya Maṭha and our Sarasvat Gauḍīya guru-varga:
dhānya-rāśi māpe yaiche pātnā sahite
paścāte pātnā uḍāñā saṁskāra karate C.c. Ādi 12.12
Paddy is mixed with straw at first, and one must fan it to separate the paddy from the straw.
“This example given by Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī is very appropriate. In the case of the Gauḍīya Maṭha members, one can apply a similar process. There are many disciples of Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura, but to judge who is actually his disciple, to divide the useful from the useless, one must measure the activities of such disciples in executing the will of the spiritual master. Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura tried his best to spread the cult of ŚrīCaitanya Mahāprabhu to countries outside India. When he was present, he patronized the disciples to go outside India to preach the cult of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, but they were unsuccessful because within their minds they were not actually serious about preaching His cult in foreign countries; they simply wanted to take credit for having gone to foreign lands and utilize this recognition in India by advertising themselves as repatriated preachers. Many svāmīshave adopted this hypocritical means of preaching for the last eighty years or more, but no one could preach the real cult of Kṛṣṇa consciousness all over the world. They merely came back to India falsely advertising that they had converted all the foreigners to the ideas of Vedānta or Kṛṣṇa consciousness, and then they collected funds in India and lived satisfied lives of material comfort. As one fans paddy to separate the real paddy from useless straw, by accepting the criterion recommended by Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī one can very easily understand who is a genuine world-preacher and who is useless.”
In this next letter excerpts, published under the name of Śrīla Svami Mahārāja, who used to be intentionally addressed as Prabhupada by his followers, we can read an unexplainable mood.
THIS IS MY INSTRUCTION TO YOU ALL
Śrīla Prabhupāda’s Letter to Rupanuga 4/28/74:
“In the latter days of my Guru Mahārāja he was very disgusted. Actually, he left this world earlier, otherwise he would have continued to live for more years. Still, he requested his disciples to form a strong Governing body for preaching the cult of Caitanya Mahāprabhu. He never recommended anyone to be ācārya of the Gauḍīya Maṭha. But Srila Bhakti Rakshak Śrīdhara Mahārāja is responsible for disobeying this order of Guru Mahārāja, and he and others who are already dead unnecessarily thought that there must be one ācārya. If Guru Mahārāja could have seen someone who was qualified at that time to be ācārya he would have mentioned. Because on the night before he passed away, he talked of so many things, but never mentioned an ācārya. His idea was talked of so many things, but never mentioned an ācārya. His idea was, ācārya was not to be nominated amongst the governing body. He said openly you make a GBC and conduct the mission. So, his idea was amongst the members of GBC who would come out successful and self-effulgent ācārya would be automatically selected. So Śrīdhara Mahārāja and his two associate gentlemen unauthorizedly selected one ācārya and later it proved a failure. The result is now everyone is claiming to be ācārya even though they may be kaniṣṭhā adhikārī with no ability to preach. In some of the camps the ācārya is being changed three times a year. Therefore, we may not commit the same mistake in our ISKCON camp. Actually, amongst my Godbrothers no one is qualified to become ācārya. So, it is better not to mix with my Godbrothers very intimately because instead of inspiring our students and disciples they may sometimes pollute them. This attempt was made previously by them, especially Madhava Mahārāja and Tirtha Mahārāja and Bon Mahārāja but somehow or other I saved the situation. This is going on. We shall be very careful about them and not mix with them. This is my instruction to you all. They cannot help us in our movement, but they are very competent to harm our natural progress. So, we must be very careful about them.”
THEIR PROPOSAL FOR COOPERATION IS A MYTH
Śrīla Prabhupāda’s Letter to ACUTANANDA 6/8/74:
“You should not write anything to Madhava Mahārāja’s camp. You may have talked many things with Mangala Niloy but why write him in black and white. The letter must not be sent. Their policy has been all along to suppress me and take credit for himself. Their proposal for cooperation is a myth. They haven’t done anything which is cooperative. You know in a recent article they managed to write in such a way that Madhava is doing the world movement and we are his subordinate. From the beginning that has been their mentality. So, there is no possibility of cooperation with them. Rather you should avoid strictly meeting with them. They are not after preaching but material gain and reputation and adoration. Otherwise, why they are non-cooperating with me? So, no cooperation is possible. Do not think or indulge in loose talks. Be careful always. Let us do the duty of propagation sincerely and seriously on our own principles. Kṛṣṇa and Śrīla Prabhupāda Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura are our only hope and they and helping us. If anything has to be done it is to be talked on the higher level between MadhavaMahārāja and myself, but I know his mentality is different and there is no possibility of cooperation.”
But here below we can read direct evidence from Śrī Caitanya-bhāgavata about the punishment waiting for those great Vaiṣṇava offenders.
From C.B. Madya 19/113 and 114
madyapera ghare kailā snan (se) bhojana
nindāka vedanti na paila darśana
He even took bath and took something (fruits) at the house of a drunkard, but the blasphemous or Mayavadi Vedantists could never get His darśana.
caitanyera daṇḍe ya ra cite nāhi bhaya
janme janme sei jīva yama-daṇḍya haya
A living entity who does not fear Lord Caitanya’s punishment is punished by Yamarāja, birth after birth.
Also, from C.B Madhya 20/138-141
yena tapasvira veśe thāke bāṭoyāra
ei mata nindāka-sannyāsī durācāra
Such a blasphemous miscreant sannyāsī is not better than a thief in the dress of a renunciant
nindāka-sannyāsī bāṭoyāre nāhi bheda
duite nindāka baḍa-- drohe kahi veda
There is no difference between a blasphemous sannyāsī and a thief, yet of the two, the blasphemer is worse. The Vedas refer to the blasphemer as malicious.
harant i dasyavo kutyam vimohyastrair nṝṇāṁ dhanaṁ
caritrair ati- tīkṣṇagrair vādair evaṁ baka vratāḥ
Plunderers steal people’s wealth in solitary places by threatening them with weapons, whereas hypocrites steal people’s wealth by bewildering them with heart–piercing words.
Which means that normal fallen people are far better than random sinful kapat religious personality who might go to hell together with all of his followers. Just like robbers create horror by showing weapons to people in a solitary place to snatch away everything from them, similarly those sinful kapat religious personalities create infatuation among people by using heart rending words to cheat them of their money and properties (lābha, pūjā, pratiṣṭhā) etc., disregarding their spiritual benefit.
But those prākṛta sahajiyās and so called ācāryas and those who are offenders (vaiṣṇava aparādhis) unto the Lotus feet of śuddha Guru-Vaiṣṇavas can never attain maṅgal. This is the siddhānta vichar already confirmed in Śrī Caitanya-bhāgavata. So, we can see the following śloka from Śrī Caitanya-bhāgavata.
sādhu-nindā sunile sukṛti haya kṣaya
janma janma adhaḥ-pāta – vede ei kaya (C.B. Madhya 20/144)
By hearing blasphemy of saintly persons, one’s piety is exhausted. The Vedas declare that such people live in hellish conditions birth after birth.
bāṭoyāre sabe matra eka janme mare
janme janme kṣaṇe kṣaṇenindāke saṁhāre (C.B. Madhya 20/145)
Thieves suffer for only one lifetime, but blasphemers suffer continuously life after life.
In comparison to general robbers, those who are against śuddha Guru-Vaiṣṇavas are more and more fallen sinful and heartless.
We can see another śloka from Śrī Caitanya-bhāgavata:
ataeva nindāka sannyāsī – bāṭoyāra
bāṭoyāra haite o ananta durācāra (C.B Madhya 20 /146)
Therefore, of the two, the blasphemous sannyāsī is unlimitedly more sinful than the thief.
In this respect The Original Prabhupāda has written in his Gauḍīya Commentary that: “Common robbers can suffer according to the intensity of their own karma phala until their expiation (atonement) is over. But those sinful men growing hatred against śuddha Guru-Vaiṣṇavas or Viṣṇu out of their natural mood of malice are liable to get infinite sufferings in each and every moment. Dirty intentions to criticise śuddha Guru-Vaiṣṇavas and Bhagavan compel anyone to undergo endless sufferings.
Even after worshipping Bhagavan for hundreds of lives (births), if śuddha Guru-Vaiṣṇavas, those who are very dear to Śrī Hari, are insulted or criticised by somebody then He can never be satisfied.
It is written in Viṣṇu Purāṇa that Satadanu Raja had to take birth as a dog due to his conversation with a vaiṣṇava nindāk (criticiser) for a small period of time, though he was always busy in worshipping Bhagavan. So it is very clear that those who are offenders unto the Lotus Feet of śuddha Guru-Vaiṣṇavas, whether they are sahajiyās or sādhu nindāk, they all are nāmāparādhis—very heavy offenders; just like māyāvadis who are also running for suicidal squad, destroying their spiritual life. Those who are by nature like Rāvaṇa, after taking sannyāsa, they engage themselves abducting Sita Devi, that means they engage themselves stealing the throne of Guru-Vaiṣṇava Bhagavan in order to collect lābha, pūjā, pratiṣṭhā etc.
To be continued…
