All glories to Śrī Śrī Guru–Gaurāṅga

The divine calculation

(By Śrīla Śyām Dās Bābā)

Date: 05.12.2025

Gauḍīya Goṣṭhī Pati Śrī Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākur Prabhupāda Paramahaṁsa Jagad Guru said that— “We Gauḍīyas always attribute all the credits to the original source (the ākārsthāna) from where everything coming. We never deserve any credit for that.” So, no personal credit or power can be recognized in the way of śrauta–panthā, because we believe 100% that kṛpā–śakti always coming from the original source.

What is the mathematical interpretation of our life? Actually, we are living for some years, for some months, for some weeks, for some days, for some hours, for some minutes, for some seconds, or for some fraction of seconds—that is the fact. This is the calculation of our unstable life history.

If anyone can be denoted by the alphabet ‘A’ then we can safely write that ‘A⁰’ means anyone having zero power, I mean the Supreme Personality of Godhead is the almighty, omnipresent, or omniscient etc. etc. We cannot deserve any personal credit because directly or indirectly everything done by that Supreme divinity, because He is the source of each and everything. From Śrī Brahma–saṁhitā 5th part the following śloka in support of the above siddhānta–vicāra

īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ

sac–cid–ānanda–vigrahaḥ

anādir ādir govindaḥ

sarva–kāraṇa–kāraṇam                   (Śrī Brahma–saṁhitā 5.1)

Kṛṣṇa who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes.

Now we know that behind the screen of Mahāmāyā there is one and a single tattva which is known as advaya–jñāna–tattva.

Why does A⁰ = 1? Now we like to show you the mathematical jugglery through which you can realize that all the Absolute credit is due with the Supreme Lord and nobody else:A⁰ = A (1–1) = A¹ / A¹ = 1 (That means the Supreme Lord is all in all, all our power is zero)

pratiṣṭhā–taru, jaḍa–māyā–maru,

nā pela ‘rāvaṇa" yujhiyā ‘rāghava"

vaiṣṇavai pratiṣṭhā, tāte kara niṣṭhā,

tāhā nā bhajile labhibe raurava

(Duṣṭa Mana, by Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda)

“The demon Rāvaṇa (lust–incarnate) fought with Lord Rāmacandra (love–incarnate) in order to gain the tree of worldly reputation — but that oasis turned out to be but a mirage cast in the desert wasteland of the Lord's illusory material potency. Please cultivate fixed determination to attain only the steady and solid platform whereupon a Vaiṣṇava ever stands. If you neglect worshiping the Lord from this position, then you will ultimately attain a hellish existence.”

Can you show even a single harikathā or writing or ācaraṇa of Śrīla Bābā Mahārāj which is not in line with The Prabhupāda (or Śrīla Saccidānanda Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura)? Then why unnecessarily you all like to attack him? Majority must be granted or seniority must be given priority, etc. all are applicable in this material world only but are completely obsolete in aprakṛta–jagat.

The Prabhupāda used to say that— “If I seek the path leading towards the ultimate good, then I must ignore the countless voices of popular wisdom and listen only to that of the realized soul.” Also, very often he used to say that— “I must submit unto the lotus feet of such a great personality (or Sad–Guru) who can give me cent percent maṅgala. Who can give me partial maṅgala or even can give indulgence to my sense gratification, surely I cannot take shelter of such a so–called sādhu, because he is my enemy.”

All my dirty desires or anarthas can go away by the mercy or a real Sādhu–Vaiṣṇava. The Prabhupāda used to say that— “A genuine sādhu means who is always ready to sacrifice all my anarthas or unwanted desires by the help of the sharp–edged cutter of jñāna.” Vaiṣṇava–Sarvabhauma Śrīla Jagannāth dās Bābājī Mahārāj used to say that— “Really, it is a matter of great regret that those great merciful sādhus always like to save those fallen souls from the trap of Māyā by the help of strong pravacan (or writings etc.) but they become the victim of their revenge.” Some time, The Prabhupāda was asked that “why there is a scarcity or famine of harikathā?”

The Prabhupāda said in reply to that question that— “Those pure Sādhu Guru Vaiṣṇavas are being neglected in each and every temple (everywhere), so naturally there is a scarcity or famine of harikathā.”

Śrīla Saccidānanda Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura has said that— “Gaura–bhimukha nija jane jāni para…” (Those who are aversive to Śrī Gaura—I know him to be outsider).

Now, how to detect an aversive personality? The Prabhupāda has given a very very scientific reply to that question in the following way— “You can very carefully pay attention to the fact that he (or she) is not at all in favor of śuddha–ācāra–vicāra shown by our śuddha–guru–varga—those who are completely established in śrauta–panthā. In fact, even they cannot bear the existence (or the presence) of śuddha Sādhu Guru–Vaiṣṇavas in front of them, he always likes to drive them away to secure his personal lābha-pūjā-pratiṣṭhā which is otherwise impossible to get. That is the only reason for why there is famine of harikathā all over the world.”

Do you think that Śrīla Bābā Mahārāj has taken some bribe from other authentic ācāryas to glorify them? Then why he is not glorifying others? There must be a secret reason behind this. Of course this is an open secret matter, you also can realize from heart but cannot confess, because of biasness.

You are requested to go through all the writings and speeches of all those so–called famous international ācāryas to find the distinction of The Prabhupāda and his strict follower Śrīla Bābā Mahārāj, then we think you can discover that all the problems are over. Do you think that Śrīla Bābā Mahārāj has some partiality or jealousy or discrepancy? Can you prove any such allegation against him?

The Prabhupāda has written in his writing “Vaiṣṇava Ke” that—

kanaka–kāminī, pratiṣṭhā–bāghinī,

chādiyāche yāre sei ta’ vaiṣṇava:

sei anāsakta, sei śuddha–bhakta,

saṁsāra tathāya pāya parābhāva                 (Vers 11)

If kanaka–kāminī, pratiṣṭhā–bāghinī is completely gone from inside the heart of a person—then he may be known as a true vaiṣṇava because he is having complete detachment; he is a pure devotee and material māyā (saṁsāra) cannot touch him.

Have you ever seen any such negative symptom (I mean to collect lābha–pūjā–pratiṣṭhā) in his life, so that you can consider him as asādhu!

A Vaiṣṇava can never be identified by watching his external pratiṣṭhā like huge amount of vaibhava (opulences) or by watching the huge number of his followers, or by watching the number of temples established by him all over the world. Because those all are external symptoms. A genuine Sādhu Vaiṣṇava can only be detected by watching his Śrī–Guru–niṣṭhā (or Vaiṣṇava–niṣṭhā), or sampradāya–niṣṭhā, or viśuddha–siddhānta–vicāra–niṣṭhā, or viśuddha–ācaraṇa–niṣṭhā etc. But anyway, you don’t care all those things. Śrīla Bhakti Hṛdaya Vana–deva Gosvāmī Mahārāj very often used to say that— “Only a real Vaiṣṇava can glorify other Vaiṣṇava in true sense but those so–called sādhus can never glorify Sādhu Guru Vaiṣṇavas or Bhagavān, because they like to reserve their own lābha–pūjā–pratiṣṭhā, so naturally they are bound to follow the track of mātsarya—I mean, they are contaminated.”

None of those so–called international preachers wanted to glorify other exalted śuddha Guru Vaiṣṇavas at all. Why?

Why before Śrīla Bābā Mahārāj none of those so–called international ācāryas wanted to glorify those exalted śuddha guru–vaiṣṇavas of our Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava Sampradāya (specially our Sarasvata Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavas)? To suppress the fact is a great offense, then why those great exalted sādhus and their topics have been kept secret or ignored for so long period up to now. It is only due to jealousy and nothing else.

Really, we wonder why people are less interested to make a survey to detect the original source of this chronic disease? The Prabhupāda very often used to say that— “He who wants to project himself as a great sādhu, be sure that he is a branded asādhu.” It is our earnest request unto all of your lotus feet that without indulging in any further altercation, please try to give scriptural evidence to establish your side, because as per the following evidence of śāstra, we know that—

tarko ‘pratiṣṭhaḥ śrutayo vibhinnā

nāsāv ṛṣir yasya mataṁ na bhinnam

dharmasya tattvaṁ nihitaṁ guhāyāṁ

mahājano yena gataḥ sa panthāḥ                                    (Vana–parva 313.117)

“Logical interpretation cannot stand in the way of that Absolute Truth. Those śrutis, smṛtis, etc. are going to represent The Absolute Truth in such a way that—it seems to be confusing for common people. One such ṛṣi cannot be found, whose opinion cannot differ from the others. The absolutely secret tattva of Bhāgavata–Dharma is hidden secretly out of the reach of all. Only we will have to pay full attention to the way shown by our previous mahājanas.”

The Prabhupāda very often used to say that— “Logical interpretation cannot stand in the way of that Absolute Truth. Also, The Prabhupāda used to say that— “By ignoring Guru–Vaiṣṇava no none can come out successful in hari–bhajana.”

By the backing of true Guru–Vaiṣṇava–darśana, one can perform Guru–Vaiṣṇava–sevā or Bhagavat–sevā. From Śrīmad Bhāgavatam we know the following ślokas to cut your biasness—

dharmaḥ projjhita–kaitavo ’tra paramo nirmatsarāṇāṁ satāṁ

vedyaṁ vāstavam atra vastu śivadaṁ tāpa–trayonmūlanam

śrīmad–bhāgavate mahā–muni–kṛte kiṁ vā parair īśvaraḥ

sadyo hṛdy avarudhyate ’tra kṛtibhiḥ śuśrūṣubhis tat–kṣaṇāt             (SB 1.1.2)

Rejecting all religious activities completly which are materially motivated, this Bhāgavata Purāṇa propounds the highest truth, which is understandable by those devotees who are Paramahaṃsa Vaiṣṇavas having no smell of mātsarya. The Absolute truth is the reality which can be distinguished from the magic spell of the illusionary energy of the Supreme Lord for the welfare of all. Such truth uproots the threefold miseries. This most excellent Bhāgavatam compiled by the great sage Vyāsadeva (in his absolute realisation) is more than sufficient in itself for God realization. What else we need more from other scriptures than Śrīmad Bhāgavatam? As soon as one becomes very sincere to pay attention to get the absolute benefit from Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, then instantly, I mean before long Bhagavān can get confined within the heart of the listener.

“Now, to induce the audience in the hearing of Bhāgavatam, the excellence of Bhāgavatam in comparison to all the other scriptures which all are in favor of karma, jñāna & bhakti, is hence being spoken— First of all through Mahāmunī Śrī Nārāyana, the catuh-śloka-Bhāgavatam became manifested. In this Śrīmad Bhāgavataṃ, the pure bhakti-yoga is ascertained, that bhakti-yoga which is the absolute dharma of those sādhus, who are devoid of any envious mood born out of karma & jñāna-kanda, or any mood of intolerance, by watching anybody’s eminence or excellence and who all are merciful towards all living entities. In that absolute envy-free dharma, even there is no place for any fruitive mood or kāma or artha or any desire for any type of muktis like sālokya, etc. By the anuśīlana (hearing, reciting, remembering, etc.) of this book there can be the golden opportunity to realize that advaya jñāna tattva vastu, which is eternally indestructible and which is the cause of absolute blissful realization and the destroyer of avidyā—which is the root cause of all those threefold sufferings by maya, namely—adhyātmika, ādidaivika & ādibhautika. Whereas by the anuśīlana of this Śrīmad Bhāgavataṃ, immediately from that time onwards Śrī Hari gets confined inside the hearts of those envy-free listeners, who have enough sukṛti (favorable towards Bhakti), there in such case—how much or to what extent any other scripture or path can project their respective glories? Which means there is no need to follow any other scripture or path at all. Therefore, this Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, which is the best among all other śāstras, has to be head uninterruptedly (with absolute faith).”

nāṣṭa–prāyeṣv abhadreṣu

nityaṁ bhāgavata–sevayā

bhagavaty uttama–śloke

bhaktir bhavati naiṣṭhikī                               (Śrīmad–Bhāgavatam 1.2.18)

“By regular, submissive hearing of Śrīmad–Bhāgavatam and by sincere service to the śuddha–bhāgavata, all that is troublesome within the heart is gradually destroyed; and pure loving service (bhakti) unto the Supreme Lord—He who is glorified by all uttama–śloka—becomes firmly and irrevocably established.”
