Context

On June 15, 2025, Śrīla Bhakti Bibudha Bodhayan Mahārāj has written a public comment on social media about Śrīla Baba Mahārāj, in reply to a comment of one devotee in which he claimed that Śrīla Baba Mahārāj is committing offenses against Śrīla AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Mahārāj, and asked Śrīla Bhakti Bibudha Bodhayan Mahārāj to 'address the issue' by chastising Śrīla Baba Mahārāj, whereas we find that Bodhayan Mahārāj is going to address Śrīla Baba Mahārāj by the title of ‘Gosvāmī’. Have you addressed the issue if your Godbrother Syam das babaji Maharaja causing aparadha against Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja Prabhupada , he has created a website writing offensive things. If you have not seen it by now please ask him and ask him to stop his nonsense . Aparadha is Aparadha and should be addressed by senior Vaishnava like yourself. Please address this issue urgently. Thank you"

Srila Bhakti Bibudha Bodhayan Maharaj's reply:

"I appreciate your advice regarding my godbrother, HH Shyam Das Babaji Goswami Maharaj. I am not fully aware of his current activities, but I am also not his authority, as he left our Gurudev’s mission - Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math - at the end of 1998. Since then, he has been living independently and has had no connection with Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math.

Nevertheless, I will follow your instruction, although I am unsure whether he will listen to me. I must clarify that I do not support or appreciate his statements, especially those that are blasphemous toward my siksha-guru, His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Goswami Maharaj, the Founder-Acharya of ISKCON.

If you feel that this offence reflects upon Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math, then on behalf of the Math, I humbly offer my sincere apologies. Please forgive me and the sincere devotees of Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math."

Dear Svami Ji—Your kind attention please:

Please accept my unalloyed humble daṇḍavat praṇāma unto your lotus feet. If I am out of your Maṭh since late 1998, then let me know about who was the main editor of the magazine which was published on the eve of the 100th year completion of the anniversary celebration of Śrīla Guru Mahārāja’s Vyasa Puja tithi which was celebrated on 24th September 1998 (at Śrī Puri Dham).

Dear Swamiji, if you completely deny or ignore or reject your society (or your) connection with me, then how it was possible for me to publish so many books in your name (or, I mean, in the name of your society without taking any help from your society)? How you can deny my direct effort behind your getting the sevā of Yabat Rādhārāṇī Mandir? How it was possible for me to go on speaking hari-kathā on behalf of Śrīla Guru Mahārāj in your society here and there? How it was possible for me to drive out that Muslim jinn from the body of that girl in front of you at Delhi East of Kailash? Etc etc.

If you can openly declare that you and your Maṭh have no connection with me since late 1998, then those following documents can prove your calculation wrong. Please never mind. How it was possible for me to take paramahaṁsa veśa from Guru padapadma or how it was possible for me to guide all those small devotees in the temple successfully, after taking my veśa, by speaking continuous hari-kathā and by showing absolute acharan in front of them? What do you mean by “no connection with him (me)”? I know it for sure that you wanted to ignore your connection with me simply because you want to keep yourself in a safe position regarding your lābha-pūjā-pratiṣṭhā, but I know you have tremendous love and affection for me secretly inside your heart. But if somebody can search your letter (will be attached in the next publication) can find that you are speaking unknowingly just the opposite of what you have written (please go through the letter). If you deny or ignore your (or your Maṭh) connection with me then surely you are bound to ignore your connection with The Prabhupāda or Śrīla Gurudeva simply because they left this material world long ago.
