To understand The Prabhupāda Sarasvatī Ṭhākura at present a complete Copernican shift needs to take place

Date: 20.12.2025

Śrī Śrīmad Bhakti Prajñāna Keśava Gosvāmī Mahārāja said that-- “Jagad Guru Śrī Śrīla Prabhupāda’s close servants know well which views he upheld in his time, which ones he did not, and what standard of conduct he personally followed. It is no fault of Prabhupāda if those who were never around him whimsically chose not to follow his personal conduct. Their behaviour cannot be taken to represent the views accepted by Prabhupāda.” (From Śrī Gauḍīya-patrikā, Year 41 Issue 6, excerpt from a letter)

We also can remember the pastime of Indra and Virocana, who both approached Lord Brahmā so that they can get established in brahma-vidyā. Both of them accepted the teachings of Lord Brahmā entirely different way. Virocana was unable to understand Brahmā’s teachings proper way and started to propagate a completely false doctrine in the name of getting the teachings from his Guru (Brahmājī). The effect of that miss-preaching can be seen even today propagating in an alarming rate. Indra on the other hand reflected deeply about what he had heard. Until he heard everything fully, he never assumed, “I have understood everything what my Gurudeva has spoken.”

A mango tree and a neem tree both drink the same water of the Gaṅgā; yet one yields sweet fruits and the other bitter ones. The Gaṅgā is not to blame for that. Similarly, a bona fide Guru may have disciples around him who possess the qualities of a sat-śiṣya, but at the same time others will be there who never deeply tired to get entry into the heart of Śrī Guru due to their kapaṭ-bhāva. And that is the reason for why such so called disciples ultimately become promoters of doctrines which are just opposed to the original teachings as shown by Śrī Guru.

Both Śrīla Īśvara Purī and Rāmacandra Purī came to Śrīla Mādhavendra Purī Gosvāmī — the root of the desire tree of divine love. Both accepted sannyāsa from him. But Rāmacandra Purī due to lacking of śaraṇāgati & sevā-mood, became a guru-drohī (who gone against Gurudeva). Śrīla Īśvara Purīpāda on the other hand received the entire mercy of his Gurudeva.

sei haite īśvara-purī—premera sāgara

rāmacandra-purī haila sarva-nindākara

mahad-anugraha-nigrahera sākṣī dui-jane

ei dui-dvāre śikhāilā jaga-jane                                                   (Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā 8.31–32)

“Thus Īśvara Purī became an ocean of ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa, whereas Rāmacandra Purī became a dry speculator and critic of all. Īśvara Purī received Mādhavendra Purī’s blessings, whereas Rāmacandra Purī received his rebuke. Through these two, he instructed the entire world.”

For all those who are not familiar with the divine siddhānta-vicāra and ādarśa of The Prabhupāda, it becomes almost inevitable that they will misunderstand him and also misunderstand his genuine followers. Out of their own ignorance and narrowness of vision, those so-called devotees can hastily conclude that Śrīla Bābā Mahārāj has opened a new sampradāya. Whereas his whole life is dedicated to the service of The Prabhupāda (Gauḍīya Maṭha). All those who are around him can directly witness his absolute dedication and his tireless continuous absolute vāṇī-sevā mood under the strict guidance of The Prabhupāda. Śrīla Bābā Mahārāj’s whole bhajana-life is completely dedicated in establishing the Absolute Truth. He has brought a flood of akaitava harikathā which is more than enough to inundate the whole world. The absolute glories of the topics of akaitava sevā of Śrī Guru, Gaurāṅga & Go-mātā can be realised by watching his endless divine sevā mood. His lion-like roar in the form of harikathā can drive away all those evil personalities—those who are in the guise of devotees going to destroy the whole devotional field. Those kapaṭa devotees start perspiring very badly in front of him. He always avoids matters like foreign trip, making disciples, constructing temples, etc. In spite of that many are there who never hesitate to pass dirty comments about him, so much audacity they have.

In this circumstances only we can say that such useless emotional outbursts in the form of false accusation like—“Śrīla Bābā Mahārāj has opened a new sampradāya”—can only destroy our sampradāya. Surely they are the followers of all those modern ācāryas and their newly adopted methods of preaching techniques. Their conceptions are hovering only around their personal lābha-pūjā-pratiṣṭhā.

It is surely not surprising that all those who never got entry into the heart of The Prabhupāda also cannot understand Śrīla Bābā Mahārāj. To understand Śrīla Prabhupāda at present a complete Copernican shift needs to take place. Just like in medieval times when astronomers insisted on a geocentric model simply because to the naked eye everything appeared to revolve around the Earth. But with the passage of time and by the discovery of higher principles, the geocentric model was exposed as superficial and ultimately false, and the heliocentric truth became undeniable.

Similarly, it is very easy and comfortable to accept all those modern ācāryas—those who never want to follow The Prabhupāda in true sense. Those modern ācāryas can only show some external respect for The Prabhupāda, but from their heart they never want to accept or follow him—his Bhakti Siddhānta Vāṇī. Those so-called followers of The Prabhupāda and Gauḍīya Maṭha can make a show that everything revolves around The Prabhupāda as it is, but the fact is that externally, all such empty shows are nothing but hidden selfishness to collect huge amount of lābha-pūjā-pratiṣṭhā. Everything appears very liberal and harmonious on the surface for those sahajiyās because they feel it very easy to digest, easy to follow—that is their sahajiyā policy to follow, but that is nothing but like blue jackal making a masterplan to capture and destroy the whole Gauḍīya preaching field.

But ‘truth is always truth’; it is just a question of time until it gets revealed. Fortunate and sincere jīvas will surely come (or already coming). Someday they can discover the whole drama which has been displayed by those sahajiyās and antagonists for so long time in the name of Gauḍīya bhajana. The curtain will or must be lifted by the endless kṛpā of Śrī Guru-Vaiṣṇava-Bhagavān someday and surely those fortunate jīvas will discover the actual root cause of our original Sarasvata Gauḍīya sampradāya—who is well known as Gauḍīya Goṣṭhī Pati Śrī Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Ṭhākura Paramahaṁsa Jagad Guru. What was accepted as the centre point in their respective life—now going to reveal the fact that it was nothing but only chala-dharma—something superficial in the name of Bhāgavata-dharma. And what was hidden by those sahajiyās for so long time in a pre-planned way, now going to be exposed as like the crooked activities of a blue jackal. Now the true axis is already exposed in true sense upon which the whole Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava vicāra revolves—which is called Bhakti Siddhānta Vāṇī-vaibhava. It is only when such a Copernican shift takes place inside our hearts then the sincere Gauḍīyas or newcomers surely can lose all their faith on all those modern ācāryas.

Thanks a lot

Truly yours in the service of Śrī Śrī Guru Gaurāṅga & Go-Mātā
